I started Heard Recording because I know how important it is for artists to feel genuinely understood in the studio.
Before producing, I spent years playing in bands, writing, recording, gigging and feeling both the highs and frustrations that come with trying to capture the right sound. Some recording sessions were brilliant; others left me wishing the person behind the desk truly understood. Those experiences shaped everything about how I work now.
As a producer and engineer, I’ve worked on music released by Sony Music and Fuzz Club Records, had tracks played on BBC Radio 6 Music, and collaborated with producers such as Robert L Smith (David Bowie, Paul McCartney), Jim Eliot (Kylie Minogue, Ladyhawke), and Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor).
But what matters most isn’t credentials, it’s how I work with you.
I know how personal making a record is, and how much difference it makes when the process feels clear, relaxed and collaborative. That’s the heart of Heard Recording, a service built on clarity, empathy and collaboration, where I stay true to your sound from the first conversation to the final mix.
